An administrator is required to:
- Approve user accounts
- Prepare ideas for moderation and evaluation by whoever is responsible
in your company.
WHERE IS IT STORED?
IdeasTracker runs on a server - either yours or one at an ISP -
which means it can be available anywhere in the world, or just in
your company. You can also run IdeasTracker on one computer if you
set your computer up to run like a server - in this instance you
can use IdeasTracker to track your own ideas and organise your knowledge.
IdeasTracker is developed in PHP and works in Linux and Microsoft
environments on a wide range of servers - view the installation
specifications here.
It works out-of-the-box with MySQL. It's relatively easy to customise
it to other databases - contact us
to find out how.
The code is triple-key encrypted, but the overall security depends
on how you choose to host it. Being a web-based application your
server security is important. Check with your host or IT department
for the optimum solution.

Recent
estimates show [that] 85 percent of a company's information remains
