Ideas are stored in Categories - you can create new Categories and rename existing Categories to fit with your company.

By clicking Add New Topic (the orange button at the bottom), a User can submit an idea (a Topic) to a Category, and other Users give their feedback (Replies). IdeasTracker remembers the date submitted and the person who submitted it, removing any chance of idea theft.

Ideas can be filtered by whether they're new, expired, which branch they originated from, and what Status they've achieved. Statuses are assigned by the Opportunity Director to keep a track of where an idea is at in terms of its implementation.

Categories with ideas within them have a blue arrow next to them, and the arrow can be clicked to reveal any Topics within the Category. IdeasTracker tells you how many views and Replies the Topic has, and its Status and expiry date.
